Tom joined ICER in the spring of 2023. Prior to working at ICER, Tom was a systems engineer at Grand Valley State University, where he supported Linux and network infrastructure for academic instruction and research projects for the HPC Support team, managed a number of systems as part of the Information Technology team, and taught both introductory and advanced networking courses within the School of Computing. Before joining the world of research computing, Tom spent much of his career with Herman Miller where he most recently helped lead various projects and research initiatives as part of the IT Strategy and Innovation team.
