Using Python on HPCC System

We have received many questions about using Python on the HPCC system. We suggest two methods: users can install their own version of Python with Anaconda or use the versions of Python installed on the HPCC system. To support our users, a wiki page particularly addressing these questions is provided: https://wiki.hpcc.msu.edu/display/ITH/Python(link is external)

If you need assistance with using Python on HPCC, please take a look at this reference. If you have any difficulty to follow the instruction, feel free to submit a ticket or visit our open office hours on Mondays and Thursdays 1-2pm.

We also welcome suggestions from users who would like to request a workshop or more documentation about using Python on HPCC. To share your suggestions, please:

  • Click on the link: https://contact.icer.msu.edu/training.

  • Select "Python" from the dropdown menu "Please choose a subject".

  • If you know what you’d like the workshop or documentation to address, please tell us in the "Additional Comments”.

  • Click “Submit” button at the end of the page.
