ICER Welcomes New HPC Administrator - Adam Pitcher
We are pleased to announce the recent hiring of Adam Pitcher to the position of HPC Administrator. Adam is a lifelong Spartan. Having graduated from Michigan State University in 1999 with a BS in Computer Science and Engineering, he came back a year later as a system administrator for Computer Science. 14 years later he transitioned to FRIB and helped design the controls system for the upcoming linear accelerator. While at Computer Science and FRIB he had a unique ability to watch the HPCC grow from creation to what it is today. With that he is now happy to be on the team. Adam will work on the OSiRIS project representing MSU on the largescale multi-University distributed file system.
