Beginning October 15th, job submission on the HPCC with Moab/Torque will no longer be available and users must transition to using slurm to submit their jobs by this date. This workshop covers the basics of updating your job script to run with Slurm on HPCC and other key changes.Register Now

These sessions are intended for existing HPCC users, familiar with the basics of HPCC, who wish to understand the basics of transitioning from moab/torque to slurm. New users should attend the regular monthly Introduction to HPCC session.
- Slurm basics
- Updating your existing job script to run with slurm
- Discussion of few Hands-on getexamples
- Changes to the module system

This session will not cover advanced scheduler tips and tricks or how to get your code working on CentOS7. Help is available for these issues by submitting a ticket: http://contact.icer.msu.edu or by visiting the weekly iCER Office Hour on Mondays and Thursdays from 1-2p in the Biomedical & Physical Sciences Building, Room 1440. No appointment is necessary.
Pre-requisities: This is a hands-on session and participants will need to bring their own laptop. Attendees must have an active HPCC account.
